다이 호우잉(載厚英)의 장편소설 『人아,人!』은 아주 다기한 유형의 전달화법으로 점철되어있다. 총 4장 27절에 걸쳐 11명의 인물들이 번갈아가며 1인칭 서술자 역을 하는 가운데, 그들이 각자 자기 자신의 관점에서 등장인물들의 담화를 다채롭게 전달하는 양상의 서술체라는점에서 그렇다.72) 전달화법의 일차적인 전달 대상은 원-언술의 표현면과 개념적 내용면이다. 하지만 원-언술에 내재하는 모종의 행위성 또한 전달 및 수용의 대상으로 간주할 필요가 있다. 특히 수용미학적관점에서 보면, 전달화법의 다기한 도입부 그 자체가 원-언술에 내재하는 모종의 행위성(즉넓은 의미에서의 ‘화행’)과 밀접하게 결부되어 있다. 전달화법의 일차적인 전달 대상인 원-언술은 원론적으로 불가변의 유일무이한 것인 반면에, 그 도입부는 전달 주체의 몫으로서 무궁무진의 가변성을 띠게 된다. 이 같은 관점 아래, 『人아,人!』에서 이른바 ‘소설가’가 1인칭 서술자로 나오는 15절과 26절의 전달화법 위주로 화행서술과 인물묘사의 상관관계를 고찰하는 것이 본 논문의 주된 내용이다.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the modes and aspects of speech acts narration and the correlations between them and characters description in Humans Ah, Humans! of Dai Houying. For that, this paper proposes to adopt a double coherent opposition : recit vs. discourse, narrative vs. descriptive, and find a hypernym and a superorder concept for indicating the act of ``Narration`` in general. Or the existing theories of narration and those of speech reporting reveal always certain fragility in their terminologies and conceptual definitions. So as the majority of narration in Humans Ah, Humans! is composed of various reported speeches, those of characters, it is indispensable to analyze the modes of their introduction in Narrative process for well-grounded elucidation and explanation of not only narrative but also descriptive of this novel. This, to clarify also correlations between the ‘novelist’ as a character in Humans Ah, Humans! and the author herself.
