이 연구의 목적은 Aman과 Singh(1994)이 개발한 문제행동 체크리스트(ABC)를 한글로 번안한 후 측정도구로서의 구성타당성을 검증하는 것이다. 연구도구인 ABC는 발달장애인의 문제행동을 측정하고자 개발되었으며, 5개 요인 58개 문항으로 구성되어 있다. 연구 참여자는 지적장애 116명, 자폐성장애 108명 등 발달장애학생 224명과, 이들의 문제행동을 측정한 특수교사이다. 이 연구를 위해 온라인 시스템을 이용하여 자료를 수집하였고, 문항분석과 탐색요인분석, 확인요인분석의 방법을 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 문항-요인 간 상관관계와 문항 간 다중공선성 분석을 통해 문항변별도가 낮은 4개 문항을 삭제하였다; 둘째, 탐색요인분석을 실시하여 원도구와 이름이 같은 5개 요인(과잉행동ㆍ불순응; 무기력ㆍ사회적 회피; 상동행동; 민감ㆍ동요ㆍ울음; 부적절한 언행)을 산출하였다; 셋째, 확인요인분석과 모형 수정 과정을 거쳐 모형의 적합성과 도구의 신뢰도, 타당도를 확인하였다. 이 연구 결과 ABC의 구성타당도를 검증하였으므로 향후 발달장애아동문제행동의 신뢰로운 측정을 위해 ABC가 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 그러나 일부문항의 신뢰성이 의심되므로, 후속 연구를 통해 더욱 간명하고 적합한 모형을 구현하는 것이 필요하다.

The aim of this study is to validate the Aberrant Behavior Checklist(ABC) which was translated into Korean. The instrument, ABC are grouped into five subscales(Aman & singh, 1994): (1) Irritability, agitation, crying (15 items), (2) Lethargy, social withdrawal (16 items), (3) Stereotypic behavior (seven items), (4) Hyperactivity, non-compliance (16 items), and (5) Inappropriate speech (four items). The participants of this study were 224 students with developmental disabilities(116 students with intellectual disability and 108 students with autism spectrum). The data were tested by 224 special teachers using online survey system. Results of this study were as followings: (1) 4 items were deleted by item-discrimination and multi-collinearity. (2) 54 items in 5 factors were elicited as a problem behavior model for children with developmental disabilities(DD) using exploratory factor analysis. (3) Confirmatory factor analysis was performed, and the model was modified using error covariance and adding path tracing. As the result of this study, ABC was validated and may be useful for testing problem behaviors of children with DD.
