경도 지적장애 학생은 제한된 인지 능력과 언어의 다양한 요소를 통합하는 데 있어서의 어려움 때문에 쓰기발달뿐만 아니라 작문의 질에서도 차이를 보인다. 본 연구는 경도지적장애 학생들의 쓰기를 통해 텍스트 지식의 특성을 알아보고자 하였으며 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 일기문 쓰기를 수집하여 텍스트 맥락지식과 언어지식에 중점을 두고 분석하였다. 연구대상은 P지역과 K지역에 위치한 초등학교와 중학교에 재학 중인 경도 지적장애 학생 10명과 어휘연령을 일치시킨 일반학생 10명으로, 총 20명이었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 쓰기의 질적 내용을 분석한 결과 경도 지적장애 집단은 총체적 평가의 전반적 인상 항목을 제외한 모든 항목들에서 어휘연령 일치 집단보다 텍스트 맥락지식이 유의미하게 낮은 결과를 나타내었다. 또한 지적장애 학생들의 텍스트언어지식 점수 역시 분석적 평가의 문장부호와 조사 항목을 제외한 항목들에서 일반 학생들보다 유의미하게 낮았다. 둘째, 경도 지적장애 집단과 어휘연령 일치 집단 간에 쓰기의 양적 결과를 분석한 결과, 텍스트 지식(텍스트 맥락지식, 텍스트 언어지식) 각각에서 접속어 오류 항목, 맞춤법, 조사, 문장부호 오류 항목을 제외한 항목들에서 지적장애학생들의 점수가 유의한 차이로 낮게 나타났으나, 텍스트 맥락지식과 텍스트 언어지식에서는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이 연구를 통해 경도지적장애 학생 집단의 텍스트 지식의 특성을 살펴봄으로써 경도지적장애 학생들의 쓰기 발달의 특성을 파악할 수 있었으며, 어휘 연령에서 비슷하다하더라도 쓰기 양상이나 쓰기 지식은 다르게 나타날 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 더 나아가 본 연구는 인지 능력을 고려한 쓰기 지식 중재의 중요성을 시사한다고 할 수 있다.
Students with mild intellectual disabilities have difficulties to combine a variety factors of language and limited cognitive. Therefore they also show significant difference in equality of writing. The purpose of this study is to evaluate trait of text knowledge that shows diary writing of students with mild intellectual disabilities. For this study, researcher make to diary writing assignment about daily life to compare each 10 students that is studying P area elementary school and K area middle school with mild intellectual disabilities students. Results of the study were as follows: First, mild intellectual disabilities groups and languages matching groups were qualitative differences. Both groups showed a significant difference in the items except the overall impression of the overall evaluation item in a text contextual knowledge. There was a significant difference in the items except for punctuation marks and postposition of analytical assessment in text language knowledge. Second, mild intellectual disabilities groups and languages matching groups were no quantitative differences. Both groups showed a no significant difference in the items except the overall impression in descriptive statistics of basic data. There was a significant difference in the items except for conjunctive error, spelling, postposition, punctuation marks error. Both groups showed a no significant difference in text contextual knowledge and text language knowledge. This study can understand writing development characteristics of mild intellectual disabilities students. Moreover, considering that cognitive abilities, suggest that the importance of the intervention of the writing knowledge.
