본 연구의 목적은 순차 분석 방법 (Sequential analysis)을 적용하여 웹 기반에서 협력적 문제 해결 학습 과정을 분석하는데 있다. 특히, 서술적인 빈도 분석, 단계별 변환 확률 분석, 변환 상태 도식, 유의도 검사 등을 활용하여 협력적 문제 해결 학습의 단계별, 단계들의 쌍, 연속적인 과정 등을 분석 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 빈도 분석의 경우 문제 해결 과정의 수정 단계가 가장 빈번하게 나타났고 단계들의 쌍의 경우 문제 분석-준거 개발, 문제 분석 비평-준거 개발, 해결 과정 수정-해결 과정 수정, 해결책 제시-해결책 비평 등이 선행 단계와 후행 단계로 함께 나타날 가능성이 높았다. 또, 변환 상태 도식을 통해 웹 기반 협력적 문제 해결 과정을 시각화하여 연속적인 과정들로 표현하였다.

The growth of interests in educational use of the internet has expanded the strengths of conventional collaborative problem solving in terms of collaborative knowledge construction, multiple perspectives, shared goal and responsibilities. However, what a collaborative problem solving process leads to such problem solving performance has not been specified yet. For the reason, we examined the online collaborative problem solving process by using the sequential analysis and the transition state diagram. We found that: 1) orientation process was highly observed; 2) process pairs between problem analysis and criterion development (PA-CD), problem critique and criterion development (PC-CD), and orientation and orientation (OO-OO) were observed highly frequently; and 3) transitional probability and state diagram showed the online collaborative problem solving distingtively.
