본 연구는 서울시에 위치한 B병원 재활의학센터의 환자 서비스경험 향상을 위한 서비스디자인 전략구축 및 디자인 콘셉트 개발을 위한 마스터플랜 성격의 연구로 추진되었다. 즉 디자인 사고를 중심으로 B병원만의 차별화된 의료서비스 실행전략을 개발하고 서비스 개선 및 개발을 위한 핵심 터치포인트를 찾아 서비스디자인 콘셉트를 제안하는 실증적 연구를 수행했다. 먼저 다양한 서비스 이해관계자의 수요범위 및 질환특성별 환자상태에 따라 의료서비스디자인 수행방법이 달라져야 한다는 가정 하에 B병원 의료서비스 수요조건에 적합한 재활환자(노인성 질환자 대상) 경험디자인리서치를 수행했다. 이후 분석결과에 앨더퍼(C.Alderfer)의 ERG이론을 적용하여 환자·보호자 욕구동인에 따른 병원환경특성을 새롭게 개념화해 전략화 함으로써 환자·보호자의 서비스 기대가치를 높이고, 향후 구체적인 디자인개발 사업이 가능한 범위 안에서 서비스디자인 아이디어 콘셉트 10개를 개발했다. 이를 통해 공적 의료서비스 강·약점에 관한 이슈도출 및 인사이트를 밝히고 공공의료서비스에 대한 국가적 신뢰를 높일 수 있는 서비스디자인 발전방향의 토대를 확보하고 제시된 콘셉트의 구체적 실행을 위한 디자인개발연구가 후속되어 서비스디자인 시나리오 검증이 이루어지길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to promote the study of the master plan for the nature of the service design and design concept developed strategies for improving the patient experience, the B hospital services Rehabilitation Center in Seoul. Focusing on design thinking, we conducted empirical studies to develop differentiated strategies of the B hospital medical services and find the key touch point for service improvement and propose concepts of service design. For this study, we investigated service stakeholders`` opinions, attitudes and perceptions etc. after understanding the context of the existing hospital system through an experience design research of rehabilitation patients, especially who has a geriatric. Then, after applying the ERG theory of C.Alderfer, we developed 10 concept designs which will be available in the future and increase the value of service expected by patients and caregivers. We hope this study will be helpful for developing the direction for improvement of medical service design for multi-angle and preparing the ground for improvements of service design to increase the confidence in national public medical services.
