The purpose of this study is to examine the change of modern literary materials in secondary Korean textbook. Modern literary materials in second Korean textbook have made the consciousness of literary canons because they have been taught and learned through public education. On modern literature Sunbeans whispering to the stone wall(by Kim Yeoungrang), Prologue(by Yun Dongju), Mother cares(by Gi Hungdo), Azaleas(by Kim Sowol), a buckwheat-flower season(by Lee Hyosuk) and Camellia(by Kim Youjung) are published in Secondary Korean textbook according to 2009 curriculum. The most presented author is Kim Sowol and Park Wansuh in modern times.
