본고는 정철의 술회시 창작에 나타난 자기치유의 효용을 탐색함을 목적으로 한다. 정철은 수학기부터 임종 10일전까지 평생 다양한 종류의 한시를 창작했다. 정치계에 입문한 후 정철은 당쟁으로 인한 시름에서 자유로 울 수 없었고, 시름들을 해소하고자 술회시를 창작했다. 필자는 자기치유의 관점에서 정철의 정치적 문제 관련 술회시 3편을 선정했다. 이후 정철이 이 3편의 술회시를 창작할 때 각 시편마다 토로, 은유, 자부심, 위안, 해명등의 자기치유기제가 발현되어 자기치유의 효용을 보았음을 고찰해 보았다. 이 연구는 현대의 학습자들도 일상생활에서 갖은 시름으로 회포가 쌓일 경우 이를 시의 제재로 삼아 창작할 때 자기치유의 효용을 볼 수 있고 건강한 주체로 성장할 수 있게 한다는 전망을 갖게 한다는 데에 의의가 있다.

The aim of this study is searching value of self-healing appeared in sulhoe poems that Jung Chul had wrote in chosun dynasty. Jung Chul had wrote poem from 16 years old to 58 years old. After he had been politician, he had been suffered political anxiety and had wrote sulhoe-poem to reduce his anxiety. From the view point of self-healing, this study selected three sulhoe poems that is related to Jung chul``s suffering and manifested value of self-healing appeared in three kinds of sulhoe poems that Jung Chul had wrote. Namely, When jung chul write sulhoe poem, Jung chul get better through operating mechanism as exposure, metaphor and factor``s mechanism for self-healing as 해명, self-belief of creative writing. Therefore, this study has important meaning as follows. First of all, when students of this period have wrote sulhoe poem, they get value of self healing. Also, Education of sulhoe poem``s creative writing make students a new healthful student.
