이 연구는 제주신화를 소재로 하는 동화콘텐츠인 「아버지를 찾아서」와 「마두의 말씨앗」을 대상으로 하여, 부친탐색담의 현재성 투영 양상을 살펴보았다. 먼저 제주신화 < 천지왕본풀이 >, < 초공본풀이 >, < 이공본풀이 >의 부친탐색담은 ``부친의 부재 - 부친탐색의 계기 - 부친탐색의 여정 - 부친과의 조우 - 부친의 임무부여 - 부친능력 계승``의 과정으로 나타나고 있었으며, 내적인 측면에서 주인공 개인의 근원에 대한 인식을 통한 정체성 찾기로, 외적인 측면에서 불완전한 사회 구조를 극복하는 사회관계 회복의 원형으로 파악할 수 있었다. 이 중 < 이공본풀이 >를 소재로 하는 「아버지를 찾아서」는 개인의 성취와 공동체 회복의 대립의 양상을 통해, 「마두의 말씨앗」은 소통을 통한 공동체의 관계 회복에 따른 성장의 가능성을 보여주면서 공감대를 얻을 수 있는 현재성을 투영하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

This study examined reflecting aspects of the Finding Father story`s nowness based on fairy tales < Searching for Father > and < Madu`s talk-seed > which have Jeju myth motif. First of all, the Finding Father story of Jeju myths, < Chonjiwang Bonpuri >, < Chogong Bonpuri > and < Igong Bonpuri > show ``absence of father - opportunity of search - journey of search - encountering with father - father`s performance of duty``. The Finding Father story could be understood finding identities through the individual origin of main character in the inner side and overcoming an incomplete social structure which is an archetype of social relationship recovery in the outer side. Through the individual achievement and a community recovery of aspect of conflict, < Searching for Father > with < Igong Bonpuri > motif and < Madu`s talk-seed >, showing a possibility of growth by the relationship recovery through communication reflect the nowness which can get a bond of sympathy.
