The german romanticism has been considered as reactive conservatism. But there are another stream of interpretation against the theory. It separates early german romanticism from the latter one and pays attention to political progressivism in early german romanticism. This new opinion says early german romanticism had connected the idea of aesthetical ``Bildung(education)`` and the radical vision of the ``poetischer Staat(poetic state)``. The ``poetische Staat`` was regarded as the ideal form of state to overcome a vestige of feudal state in early german romanticism. Considering this point, it is unfair to think the german romanticism as reactive conservatism. The progressivism in early german romanticism can be also found in the concept of aesthetical ``Bildung``. The romanticists thought that the ``Bildung(education)`` of person can be achieved by the infinite and free reflection in the immanent self. They extend the concept of ``Bildung(educating)`` into aesthetical one. They believed aesthetical ``Bildung`` would be able to create integral person. And this integral person could look ahead into the future state, namely the ``poetischer Staat``. I think the ``Bildung`` in the procedure of the romantically aesthetical reflection might contribute to expand our political imagination. But the procedure is developed only in the private contemplation. There is a discontinuous relation between private contemplation and public action. Therefore, it is rash for romantic ``Bildung(education)`` to expect practical significance in the sphere of actual politics.
