이 연구는 중학교 과정 이상의 특수학교(급)에서 발달장애학생들을 대상으로 진로ㆍ직업교육을 지도하고 있는 교사들의 역량을 계발하기 위한 직무수행능력 기준을 개발하는데 목적이 있었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전국 범위의 목적표집을 통해 중등 특수교사 284명을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 직무수행능력 기준 예비조사지를 타당화하는 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 직무수행능력 기준의 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증되었으며, 최종 직무수행능력 기준은 학생중심계획 4문항, 학생역량개발 5문항, 교수전략 4문항, 가족지원 3문항, 기관간 협력 4문항, 고용지원 3문항으로 총 6개 요인, 23개 문항으로 구성되었다. 또한 이 연구의 결과에 대한 논의 및 제언 등을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to development a standard for job performance ability of teachers in charge of career and vocational education for students with developmental disabilities in special schools and classes at the level of middle school and higher so that the standard could help to improve the competence of the teachers concerned. In order to achieve the research goal, 284 teachers in special schools at the secondary level were selected via purposive sampling on the national scale to carry out a survey to validate the preliminary questionnaire for the standard for job performance ability. The result shows the reliability and validity of the standard for job performance ability wee verified. The final standard for job performance ability consisted of a total of 23 questionnaire items of 6 factors including 4 items of student-oriented plan, 5 items of development of student competency, 4 items of teaching strategy, 3 items of family support, 4 items of cooperation between public institutions, and 3 items of employment support. And discussion of the result of this study was followed and some suggestions were made.
