본 연구의 목적은 상황중심 성폭력 예방프로그램이 특수학급 지적장애 중학생의 성폭력 지식과 성 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 밝히는 것이었다. 연구대상은 경기도 B시에 위치한 일반 중학교 특수학급에 배치된 지적장애 남학생 6명과 여학생 4명을 편의목적표집하였다. 연구문제를 검증하기 위하여 상황중심 성폭력 예방프로그램을 적용하기 전과 후에 설문지를 통해 수집한 자료를 대응표본 t검증을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상황중심 성폭력 예방프로그램이 특수학급 지적장애 중학생의 성폭력 지식을 향상시켰으며, ``피해자와 가해자의 유형,`` ``발생 원인과 장소,`` ``피해 예방과 대처`` 하위영역에서 사전검사와 사후검사 간 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 그러나 ``성폭력 개념과 범위`` 하위영역에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 상황중심 성폭력 예방프로그램이 특수학급 지적장애 중학생의 성 태도를 향상시켰으며, ``신체구조와 변화`` 하위영역에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 그러나 ``인간관계의 이해``와 ``성문화와 성윤리`` 하위영역에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 이러한 연구결과에 기초하여 장애학생의 성폭력 예방을 위한 후속연구와 교육현장을 위한 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a situation-based sexual abuse prevention program on the knowledge of sexual abuse and sexual attitude of middle school students with intellectual disabilities in special class. The research design was a pre and post test single group design. The subjects were 10 middle school students(6 boys and 4 girls) with intellectual disabilities in special class. The intervention, as the independent variable, was a situation-based sexual abuse prevention program and the dependent variables were the knowledge of sexual abuse and sexual attitude. To answer the research questions two dependent samples t-test were implemented. The study results were as follows. First, the sexual abuse prevention program intervention had positive effects on improving the knowledge of sexual abuse to middle school students with intellectual disabilities in special class. Second, the sexual abuse prevention program intervention had positive effects on improving the sexual attitude to middle school students with intellectual disabilities in special class. The limitations of the study and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
