본 연구는 ‘특수교육학개론’ 이수를 통한 예비통합교육교사들의 장애인 교육을 위한 지식 변화를 알아보는 것이다. P 대학교에 재학 중인 46명의 학생을 대상으로 ‘특수교육학개론’ 이수에 따른 장애인교육에 대한 지식 변화 검사 도구를 통한 사전검사, 15주간의 수업참여, 사후검사 순으로 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 ‘특수교육학개론’ 이수는 예비통합교육교사들의 장애인 교육을 위한 지식 향상에 효과적이다. 하위 영역별로 살펴본다면, 첫째, ‘특수교육학개론’ 이수는 예비통합교육교사들의 장애관련 지식 향상에 효과적이다. 둘째, ‘특수교육학개론’ 이수는 예비통합교육교사들의 특수교육관련 지식 향상에 효과적이다. 셋째, ‘특수교육학개론’ 이수는 예비통합교육교사들의 통합교육관련 지식 향상에 효과적이다. 넷째, ‘특수교육학개론’ 이수는 예비통합교육교사들의 장애학생 생활지도관련 지식 향상에 효과적이다. 따라서 특수교육학개론 수업은 예비통합교육교사들의 통합교육 지식을 향상시킬 수 있는 좋은 수단으로 최대한 효과적인 수업이 이루어질 수 있는 체계적인 준비와 노력이 필요하고 더욱 많은 연구를 통해 효과적인 수업이 될 수 있는 교수내용과 방법이 개발되고 공유되길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine changes in the knowledge of pre-service general education teachers through the introductory special education course of students in the college of education. The results of this study are as follows. Completing the introductory special education course improved the knowledge of students in the college of education positively. In the sub-domains, first, completing the introductory special education course has an effect to improve knowledge about disabilities of students in the college of education. Second, completing the introductory special education course has an effect to improve knowledge about special education of students in the college of education. Third, completing the introductory special education course has an effect to improve knowledge about inclusion education of students in the college of education. Fourth, completing the introductory special education course has an effect to improve knowledge about guidance of life of students in the college of education. Therefore, the introductory special education course is a good way to be able to improve the knowledge for inclusion education of general education teachers, so for it to be the most effective classes, instructors need systematic preparation and effort for classes. Also, the researchers in this article hope various teaching contents and methods for effective classes be developed through a diversity of researches.
