본 연구는 청소 용역 노동자와 용역 업체를 대상으로 실내에서 폐기물을 수집하는 과정을 조사하고, 기술적 적용을 통해 보다 효율적인 폐기물 수집시스템을 제시한다. 연구를 통해 설계된 Sweepa 시스템은 센서를 통해 폐기물 양을 추적하여 사용자가 폐기물 수집 경로를 자율적으로 설계하고, 축적된 데이터베이스 분석을 통해 생산적인 인적 자원 관리를 가능케 한다.

Sweepa is an indoor waste monitoring system that allows workers to check the status level of waste in trashcans throughout a site. By using sensors to measure the fill-level of waste in the trashcans, Sweepa notifies cleaning staff members which trashcans need to be emptied. Through this, Sweepa aims to enhance productivity, increase efficiency and improve the work environment of the cleaning staff.
