본 연구는 이성관계 완벽주의 척도를 개발하기 위한 목적으로 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 기존 일반적인 완벽주의 척도의 구성개념을 기초로 구성개념을 정리하여 이성관계 완벽주의의 구성요인을 4요인으로 설정하고 문항을 작성하여 서울, 경기와 인천에 거주하는 초기 성인기 남녀 350명을 대상으로 예비검사를 실시하고 460명 대상으로 본 검사를 실시하여 타당성 검증하였다. 예비검사와 본 검사 자료 수집결과를 분석하여 최종적으로 4요인 22문항으로 구성된 이성관계 완벽주의 척도를 개발하였다. 문항은 문항-전체간 상관이 대체적으로 양호하여 내적합치도 계수를 살펴본 결과 전체 신뢰도 Cronbach’s α 값은 .89이고, 요인별로는 .81∼.85로 나타났다. 또한 척도의 구인 타당도를 검증하기위해 우울, 이성관계 만족도와의 상관 분석을 수행하였고, 그 결과 이성관계 완벽주의는 우울과 정적상관을 이성관계 만족도와는 부적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 제한점과 앞으로의 연구방향을 논의하였다.

This study was conducted to develop a scale for romantic relationship perfectionism. For this purpose, this study organized the constructs of the existing general perfectionism scales, set up four constituents of romantic relationship perfectionism, drew questions, conducted a preliminary test with 350 men and women aged in early adulthood, living in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon, conducted a main test with 460 persons and verified validity. The results of the data collection from the preliminary test and the main test were analyzed, and finally, a scale for romantic relationship perfectionism was developed, which consisted of four factors and 22 questions. The questions had overall good correlations among the entire questions, and as a result of an examination of internal consistency coefficient, total reliability Cronbach’s α value was .89 and it was between .81 and .85 by each factor. In addition, in order to verify the construct validation of the scale, an analysis of the correlation between depression and satisfaction with the romantic relationship was conducted, and as a result, romantic relationship perfectionism had a positive correlation with depression while satisfaction with romantic relationship had a negative correlation with it. Finally, this study discussed limitations of this research and the future research directions.
