This paper study on the aspect of conflict through an unofficial historical story[野談] between people in Joseon Dynasty. The Joseon Dynasty had a rigid caste system. An unofficial historical story[野談] wrote down about the life of gisaeng[妓女], classical scholar, an wealthy widow and a bandit, slave. Through this investigation we could that these people have a fierce battle with their surroundings. For example gisaeng[妓女] wanted to free from an administrative office by marrying an official as a concubine. But they could not satisfy to become a concubine. An wealthy widow wanted to remarry even through it is against a law. A ruined classical scholar even invited as a leader of bandit. Sometimes slaves run away from their owner. And the owner wanted capture the fled slave. The writter of an unofficial historical story[野談] sometimes portrayed these stories within self-centered world. Partly because a writter of classical scholar could write an unofficial historical story[野談] in classical chinese. And at that they could not become a government official, so sometimes they wrote an unofficial historical story[野談] in order to come true their dream.
