korean grammar element ‘-jikha-’, ‘-mjikha-’ have a similarity forming an adjective as affixing adjective or verb stem. however, they have differences in phonological features, derivative patterns and existence of lexical opposing pairs, separation possibility of suffix ‘-ha-’ and direction of semantic meanig. even these derivational affixes show different states of diachronic appearance This paper argues, therefore, that ‘-jikha-’ and ‘-mjilha-’ are different elements despite its morphological similarity.
