이 글은 류연산의 <인생숲>을 텍스트로 삼아 분단국가주의에 맞선 주체 형성에 대해 논의하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 첫째, <인생숲>의 주인공이 전쟁으로 인한 고통에 이성적·관조적 주체가 아닌 그 고통에 참여하는 주체이며, 나아가 분단국가주의가 생산하는 숭고함을 추락시키고 새로운 담론을 형성하는 분열적 주체라는 점을 분석적으로 읽어낸다. 둘째, 그러한 주체가 바로 분단국가주의 가 만드는 역사 서술 형식을 문제 삼고, 과거의 역사를 재구성함으로써 현재와 미래의 삶을 다르게 점치게 할 수 있다는 점에서 새로운 예언적 주체임을 논의한다. 그리고 마지막으로 이 글은 그러한 예언적 주체가 감정공동체를 만들어가 는 과정에서 형성 가능한 것이며, 이때의 주체는 분단 폭력과 고통에 민감하게 반응할 수 있는 ‘문학가’에 다름 아니라는 점을 주장한다.

The purpose of this paper discuss about formation of subject against divided nationalism from Yu, Yon-san’s novels “Forest of Life”. So first, we read the main character not as rational and contemplative subject, as subject who empathizes with other’s pain, divided subject who denies sublimity of divided nationlaism and makes new discussion. Second, we discuss that such subject is “predictor” who makes an issue of frame of historical presentation, predictes retroactively the history of past. Lastly, this paper argues that such subject could be formed from construction process of emotional community, is nothing but “writer” who could react sensitively to division-violence and pain.
