The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of the emotional labor and social support of nurses in cancer wards. The study was conducted on a total 178 nurses who worked in the cancer wards of hospital with four universities located in Daegu. Data were collected using self-questionnaire. Measurement tools used were Burnout(MBI), emotional labor and social support and data were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, mean values, standard deviations, t-tests and ANOVA, Pearson coefficient, scheffe test and Stepwise Multiple Regression.
