본 연구는 여행풍수와 관련된 문화관광콘텐츠를 관광산업에서의 응용부분을 전남의 섬 관광지를 대상으로 분석하였다. 특히, 전남지역의 섬 관광지의 여행풍수적 입지 및 경관에 관해 스토리텔링의 관점에서 현장답사와 문헌연구를 통해 귀납적으로 분석하고 그 의미를 타 지역에도 적용하고자 한 것이다. 여행풍수적 입지가 전형적으로 드러나는 전남지역의 관광명소 뿐만 아니라 우리나라의 유명 관광명소는 거의 대부분이 풍수적 관점에서 조성된 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 전남지역을 포함한 우리나라 유명 관광명소들의 입지 지형은 산기슭과 배산평지(背山平地)가 많은데, 이는 풍수적 요인이 입지 선정에 반영되었기 때문이다. 역사적으로 고려시대이전에 입지한 관광명소들은 풍수적 국면이 완연하지는 않으나, 고려시대 이후에 새로 들어서거나 조성된 지방도시의 관광명소 입지에서는 분명한 풍수적 지향성이 드러나 있다. 또한 풍수적 입지국면을 갖추지 못한 관광명소의 경우라도 조선 중기 이후에 지방사회에서 풍수적 영향력이 점증되자 기존 읍기(邑基)는 풍수적으로 새로 해석되고 인문적 요소를 통하여 풍수적경관으로 재구성되는 과정을 거치게 된다. 이런 상황에서 본 연구는 전남지역의 섬 관광지를 대상으로 여행풍수의 개념을 적용해서 여행풍수 관광상품을 제안하였다. 그 결과, 여행풍수를 적용하여 개발한 관광상품은 신혼여행풍수 관광상품과 장수여행풍수 관광상품이다.

This study is a theoretical analysis on the Travel Feng Shui, and focuses on the tourist island of Jeonnam Province. This study explores the tourist island of Jeonnam Province which makes harmony with nature and maintains a cultural tradition and a collective living space over a long period of time. The study attempts to present an objective appraisal analysis of tourist spot selection which even ordinary tourists with basic knowledge of feng-shui can follow. The Feng shui isn’t a difficult concept to use when you’re traveling and staying in the Jeonnam area. Plus, by using a little feng shui while traveling, you can keep yourself energized and refreshed. Even a small feng shui can change your travel and enhance the quality of your stay and even increase your energy and vitality. So just take a few steps to ensure your travel and future life by having a good feng shui for a safe and successful travel. Based upon the principles of Feng Shui, when improvements are made for tourists in the travel area, it can also boost the complementing areas, and able you to harness power over those areas. It will also help you achieve the things you want. When you’re thinking of traveling around the Jeonnam area, there are two very important things to consider. 1.
