본 연구는 리포트 문서 제작양식을 활용한 주거자립훈련이 지적장애성인의 화장실 청소기술에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해, 본 연구는 특수학교를 졸업한 이후 비고용의 상태로 가정 내에 머물면서 부모에게 의존하고 혼자 고립된 생활 일과를 지속하는 지적장애성인 세 명을 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 실험 환경은 연구 대상들이 실제로 거주하고있는 가정 내의 화장실(평가 환경)과 방(중재 환경)으로 구성되었고, 실험 설계는 단일대상연구의 기법 중 한 가지인 대상자간 중다간헐 기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 독립변인인 주거자립훈련에서 활용된 리포트 문서 제작양식은 연구 대상들이 개별적으로 활용하는 공간인 방에 위치한 컴퓨터를 활용하는 것으로 전개되었으며, 컴퓨터 내의 한글문서, 사진파일, 프린트기를 통합적으로 활용하는 절차로 역시 이루어졌다. 연구 대상들은 컴퓨터를 통해 리포트 문서를 제작하는 데에 있어 한글문서의 글자쓰기와 표 그리기, 사진 파일을 복사하여 한글문서의 표에 붙이기, 작업한 한글문서를 컴퓨터 내의 바탕화면 파일에 저장하여 프린트하기, 출력된 리포트 문서를 클리어 파일로 파일철하기의 절차를 수행하였다. 또한, 본 연구는 연구 대상들의 리포트 문서 제작과정에 대한 반응촉진으로 구성된 지침서 역시 중재요소로 활용하였다. 종속변인(목표행동)인 화장실 청소기술은 총 10가지 단계로 과제분석되었다. 연구 결과, 연구 대상들은 중재프로그램을 통해 화장실 청소기술을 효과적으로 습득 및 유지한 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of residental independence training using report document format on bathroom cleaning skill of adults with intellectual disabilities. For this purpose, three adults with intellectual disabilities staying at home as unemployed after graduating from special high school and continuing isolated daily activities dependent on parents were selected as subjects of this study. The experimental environment comprised of bathroom (evaluation environment) and bedroom (intervention environment) in the actual residence of subjects. For the experimental design, multiple probe design across subjects was used as one of single-subject design research techniques. Report document format, an independent variable used in residential independence training, involved the use of personal computer available in the bedrooms of subjects. The procedure included combined use of Korean word processor, image file and printer on PC. While preparing for report document on PC, subjects performed typing of letters and drawing of a table on Korean word processor, copying and attachment of an image file into the table on Korean word processor, saving the created document as a file on the desktop, printing the document, and filing the printed document as clear file. In addition, a guideline for facilitating response of subjects to the report document making process was also used as an intervention factor. Task analysis was performed on bathroom cleaning skill as a dependent variable (target behavior) in 10 steps. As a result, subjects were found to effectively acquire and maintain bathroom cleaning skill through the intervention program.
