최근 국제사회에서는 ‘장애’ 개념에서 ‘건강’의 개념으로, ‘의학적 모형’과 ‘사회적 모형’을 통합하려는 종합적인 시각이 제시되고 있다. 이런 새로운 시각에서 장애를 이해하는데 국제ㆍ기능ㆍ장애ㆍ건강분류(International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, ICF)가 매우 유용하다고 여러 연구에서 제기하고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 국내의 2002년부터2014년까지의 ICF 관련 연구를 대상으로 연구동향을 살펴보고 활용방안을 모색해보는데 목적이 있다. 분석대상 논문은 국내의 학술지에 게재된 58편의 문헌을 선정하여 분석하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. ICF 연구동향을 살펴 본 결과 2008년 이후 연구가 꾸준히 증가하는것으로 나타났으며, 연구분야는 복지분야에서 가장 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있었다, 연구 대상은 장애인이 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있었으며, 구성요소에서는 활동과 참여가 가장 높은비율로 다루어졌다. 활용실태는 ICF 분류체계를 활용한 연구와 도구로 활용된 연구들이 주를 이루었다. 이러한 결과들에 근거하여 연구방향을 논의하였으며, 향후 ICF 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

In recent years, there has been suggested a comprehensive vision for ICF that move to the concept of ‘health’ from the concept of ‘disability’ that integrate with ‘medical model’ and the ‘social model’. Many studies show that ICF(International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, ICF) has been very useful in terms of understanding this new perspective for disability. Therefore, this study aims to search of the research trends intended for ICF related research from 2002 to 2014 in Korea. Analyte were analyzed by selecting the 58 research published in the Journal of the Korean. The results were as follows: ICF trend, study related to ICF has been steadily increasing since 2008, and the research area of study related to ICF was mostly made in the social welfare sector. The study subjects of research was the largest percentage of disabled persons. The most studies ICF components were activities and participation. According to the results of the study in the ICF utilization most studies use the ICF classification system as the tools. Suggestions for the future research with discussion based on the results of this study were provided.
