본 연구의 목적은 장애아전문 어린이집에서 근무하는 교사를 대상으로 자아효능감과 직무스트레스를 조사ㆍ분석하여 향후 장애아전문 어린이집 교사 지원을 위한 기초자료 및 시사점을 제공하는 데 있다. 이에 본 연구는 대전, 충남, 충북, 강원 지역의 장애아전문 어린이집 교사189명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였다. 자료는 SPSS 20.0 통계프로그램으로 분석하였으며, 통계분석은 기술 통계, 독립표본 t-test(검증)와 ANOVA(일원변량분석), Scheffe 사후검증을 실시하였다. 주요 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체 연구 대상들의 자아효능감은 ‘보통’ 수준보다 높았다. 그리고 연구 변인별로 살펴보면 연령, 학력, 결혼 여부, 보조교사 여부는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 직책, 교육경력, 학급당 유아 수, 장애 정도는 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전체 연구 대상들의 직무스트레스는 ‘보통’ 수준보다 약간 낮았다. 그리고 연구 변인별로 살펴보면 연령, 교육경력, 학급당 유아 수, 장애 정도, 보조교사 여부는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 직책, 학력, 결혼 여부는 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직무스트레스 해소 방법으로 약 2/3 이상이 잠이나휴식을 통해 직무스트레스를 해소하고 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 논의에서는 장애아전문 어린이집 교사들의 자아효능감 증진과 직무스트레스 감소에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate teachers’ self-efficacy and the job stress in child care centers for children with disabilities and to provide basic information in order to set up and develop a teacher support program in child care centers for children with disabilities. A total of 189 teachers in child care centers for children with disabilities in Gangwon, Daejeon, Chungnam, and Chungbuk responded to the questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed by conducting descriptive statics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe tests for a post hoc test using SPSS PC program(ver 20.0). The findings of the study were as follows: First, the self-efficacy level of teachers in child care centers for children with disabilities was a mean of 3.70(range 2.30 ~ 5.00). There were significant differences in the teachers’ self-efficacy determined by a teacher’s age, education level, marriage state, presence of a teacher’s assistant but there were no significant differences in the teachers’ self-efficacy according to teachers’ job, career, number of preschoolers or degree of disability. Second, the stress level at child care centers for children with disabilities was a mean of 2.75(range 1.12 ~ 3.84). There were significant differences in job stress determined by a teachers’ age, career, number of preschoolers, degree of disability, presence of a teacher’s assistant, but there were no significant differences in teachers’ job stress according to the teachers’ job, education level or marriage state. Also, many teachers relieve job stress with sleep and rest. The result of the study suggested teacher support methods can enhance the selfefficacy of teachers in child care centers for children with disabilities and help job stress.
