본 연구의 목적은 지체장애인의 장애수용도가 미래 시점의 자기존중감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 한국장애인고용공단에서 조사한 장애인고용 패널조사 데이터를 분석하여 3차년도와 4차년도에 조사 보고된 지체장애인의 장애수용도가 5차년도와 7차년도에 조사 보고된 그들의 자기존중감 수준에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인 하였다. 연구대상은 장애인고용패널 조사에 참여한 지체장애인 2,085명이었다. 분석방법은 AMOS 7을 사용하여 장애수용도의 종단적 측정 동일성과 타당도, 자기존중감의 타당도 검증을 위해 확인적요인 분석을 진행하였고, 전망적 효과를 분석하기 위해 구조방정식 모형 분석을 진행 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 지체장애인의 장애수용도가 어느 간격에서 그들의 자기존중감에 유의한 영향을 미치는지에 따라 유목화 하여 제시하여 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지체장애인의 장애 수용도는 1년, 2년, 3년 간격에서 자기존중감에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다(연구문제 1,2,3). 둘째, 지체장애인의 장애수용도는 4년 간격에서 그들의 자기존중감에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다 (연구문제 4)를 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the prospective effect of acceptance of disability on self-esteem of persons with physical disabilities. This study used the PSED(Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled) conducted by the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled from the 2008(1st) to the 2014(7th). Data used in this study is as follows; Data on the acceptance of disability comes from the 2010(3rd), the 2011(4th) waves, Data on the self-esteem come from the 2012(5th), the 2014(7th) waves. This study analyses a direct effect of acceptance of disability in the 2010(3rd), the 2011(4th) on self-esteem in the 2012(5th), the 2014(7th). The research problems of this study separated by the interval time on two major variables(acceptance of disability, self-esteem). The result of this study is follows; First, acceptance of disability predicts subsequent self-esteem of persons with physical disability in 1 year, 2 year, 3 year interval(based on research problem 1-3). Second, acceptance of disability did not have a meaningful impact on the self-esteem in 4 year interval(based on research problem 4).
