본 연구의 목적은 장애인근로자에게 적용된 보조공학이 기업의 노동생산성에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 분석 자료는 보조공학기기 및 서비스 실태조사와 2005년 장애인근로자 실태조사를 이용하였다. 분석방법은 이 2가지 자료를 이용한 OLS와 2SLS 추정방식을 적용하였다. 보조공학이 노동생산성에 미치는 효과의 크기를 추정한 결과, 보조공학기기를 투입한 기업이 보조공학기기를 투입하지 않은 기업보다 노동생산성이 0.087% 더 높게 추정되었다. 이로써 보조공학이 기업의 생산성에 긍정적으로 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 향후 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to estimate the labor productivity effects of assistive technology. Data from the Survey on Assistive Technology Device and Service(Jun et al., 2007) and the 2005 Survey on the Status of Workers with Disability(Yoo et al., 2006) were analyzed. The methodology used in the study was the OLS and 2SLS method using the two data above. The data from the 2005 Survey on the Status of Workers with Disability were selected in manufacturing and analyzed in order to determine the effect of assistive technology on labor productivity. As a result, companies that used assistive technology devices showed higher labor productivity 0.087% in manufacturing than those that did not use assistive technology devices. Finally, proposals for further research were presented.
