발달장애 아동들이 보여주는 운동협응성장애는 흔히 아동기 때 보이는 장애로 학령기에 6% 정도 발생된다. 이러한 운동협응문제는 학습문제와 관련된 주의력결핍과잉행동장애, 읽기장애, 쓰기장애, 언어장애 등과도 동반되어 나타나기도 하며, 2차적으로 아동의 정서적 문제에도 영향을 미치는데 대개 운동협응 문제는 장애의 고유 특성으로 파악되어져 교육목표에서 우선순위가 밀려나고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 운동협응장애는 운동성만이 문제가 아니라 여러 장애와 공존하는 것으로 각 장애영역의 특성과 운동협응의 연관성에 관한 연구를 할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 각 장애 영역별 운동협응장애의 공존성과 연관성을 국내ㆍ외 문헌연구를 통해 포괄적으로 알아보고, 운동협응장애와 동반된 공존병리의 이해를 통하여 운동성 향상과 교육적 지원방안을 제언하고자 한다.

Developmental coordination disorder(DCD) is characterized by being detected in the period of childhood and its prevalence in school age is 6%. DCD is accompanied with some types of learning disorder such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD), developmental dyslexia, reading disability, and special language impairment and may negatively affect on emotional development of the children. Therefore, it is necessary to study the relationship between DCD and some types of learning disorder. The purpose of this study is to summarize the domestic and abroad papers that DCD has relation with some leaning disorders, and to suggest the conclusion resulting from evidence-based research for the treatment and education of the child of developmental disability.
