Assistive devices are indispensible for the disabled persons to overcome the obstacles of their living life. Assistive devices are provided as a commercial or customized ones in according to the necessities and the degree of the disabilities of the users. In order to develop the customized goods, assessment system to measure the usability of the developed ones should be considered first. This study offers assessment system made up of LED signals and touch sensors and gives useful information on the accuracy and the speed of input assistive devices with offered assessment system. Five C6-C7 injured persons were tested with three type customized input assistive devices(thimble, finger, palm). Investigation shows that the input assistive devices are effective to improve the accuracy from 25% to 35%, however they are not effective to improve the input speed due to their additive weight and volume. Considering the input accuracy without assistive device, role of assistive devices on the accessibility to the IT device is essential for C6-C7 injured person. Thimble type yielded better results in the accuracy and the speed among three types comparatively. Based on the result of this study, characteristics of various input assistive device should be investigated further to improve the accessibility of IT device for C6-C7 injured persons.
