최근 상담연구가 활성화되고 있음에도 불구하고, 수련기 초기에 있는 수퍼바이지를 대상으로 한 수퍼비전 연구는 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 과정-성과 사례연구를 통해 사례개념화 수퍼비전 과정에서 일어난 자료와 최종 결과를 비교하여 수퍼바이지의 사례개념화 능력 향상에 도움이 되는 변화요소를 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 사례개념화 수퍼비전은 4회 실시되었으며, 수퍼비전의 현상을 조사하기 위해 수퍼비전 과정에서 다양한 질적, 양적 자료를 수집하였고, 가장 도움이 많았던 회기와 가장 도움이 적었던 회기 평가 전략을 활용하였으며, 최종 사례개념화 수퍼비전 성과를 밝혔다. 그 결과, 사례개념화 수퍼비전을 통해 수련기 초기 수퍼바이지에게 긍정적인 변화가 있었다. 지지적이고 반응적인 수퍼비전, 순조로움보다는 깊이가 있는 수퍼비전, 내담자 관련 여러 정보를 통합할 수 있는 수퍼비전, 자신의 상담실제와 접목할 수 있는 수퍼비전이 수련기 초기의 수퍼바이지에게 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

Recently despite the abundance of research on counseling, there is a lack of research on supervision for supervisee in early developmental stages. This study was to conduct a case study of process and outcome of case conceptualization supervision for supervisee in early developmental stages to simply describe what happened during the supervision, to show change in the supervisee`s outcome and to link process to outcome. Four sessions of case conceptualization supervision were conducted by an experienced supervisor. This study used multiple sources of qualitative and quantitative process data, the "best-worst" strategy, and outcome data to examine on supervisory dyad`s work together during 4 sessions. In the result, the supervision was generally positive and resulted in improvement after 4 sessions. Supportive and reactive supervision, depth rather than smoothness, structured supervision to organize related information on client, and supervision with improving supervisee`s actual counseling practice seemed to effective for supervisee in early stages.
