본 연구의 목적은 직무환경위험요인과 사회적 지지를 소진의 선행요인으로 설정하여 특수학급교사의 소진에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고, 직무환경위험요인의 부정적인 영향력을 사회적 지지가 완충 또는 상쇄시킬 수 있는지에 대한 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구 대상자는 경상도지역의 특수학급교사 279명이며, 연구 도구는 소진척도, 직무환경위험척도, 사회적지지척도이다. 자료처리는 상관분석, 단계적 중다회귀분석, 공변량구조분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 직무환경위험요인들 중 도전기회부족, 역할갈등, 역할모호성, 업무과다가 특수학급교사의 소진을 설명하는 변인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지들 중 학교행정가의 지지, 가족의 지지가 특수학급교사의 소진을 설명하는 변인으로 나타났다. 셋째, 직무환경위험요인과 소진간의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과가 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effects of social support between burnout of teachers at special class and risk factors of the job environment. The subjects in this study were selected 279 teachers at special class who served Gyeongsang province. For this study the correlation analysis, the stepwise multiple regression, the structural equation model analysis were conducted. SPSS WIN 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used. The results are summed up as follows. First, teachers at special class who highly perceived the risk factors of the job environment, have stronger burnout. Second, teachers at special class who highly perceived social support, have the decrease of burnout. At last, the mediation effect of social support was verified in the relationship between burnout of teachers at special class and risk factors of the job environment.
