본 연구에서는 장애학생을 위한 보편적 학습 설계(UDL)의 적용 기능을 중심으로 온라인학습 콘텐츠를 분석하는 것을 통해 앞으로 온라인학습 콘텐츠에 UDL을 적용하여 개발하는 구체적인 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 에듀넷의 사이버가정학습 콘텐츠 28개를 대상으로 기능을 분석해 보고 CAST에서 개발한 UDL Editions의 콘텐츠와 비교해보았다. 연구 결과, 내용 제시에 대한 다양한 방법을 제공하는 원리 측면에서는 이미지에 텍스트 설명을 삽입하거나 텍스트를 음성으로 읽어주는 기능은 전혀 구현되고 있지 않았으며, 일부 콘텐츠에서 제공하고 있는 용어설명, 하이라이팅, 학습에이전트는 기능이 제한적이었다. 표현에 대한 다양한 방법을 제공하는 원리 측면에서는 펜 지원이나 메모 등의 다양한 표현 기능을 일부 사이버가정학습 콘텐츠에서 제공하고 있었다. 다양한 학습자 참여 방법을 제공하는 원리 측면에서는 학습자 수준에 따라 난이도 등을 조절할 수 있는 기능을 제공하고 있지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 하여 앞으로 온라인학습 콘텐츠가 장애학생을 위한 UDL 원리를 적용하기 위해 어떻게 개선되어야 하는지에 대해 제안하였다.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the current online learning contents and to identify the improvements of contents development applying UDL for students with disabilities. The analysis procedure of twenty eight Cyber Home Learning contents in EduNET was implemented according to the online application aspects of UDL. Also, the contents were compared with the UDL Editions developed by CAST. The results indicated that online learning contents did not provide an alternative text explanation and text-to-speech function in the aspect of the multiple representation. Also, a few contents provided the vocabulary explanation, highlighting, and learning agent but their functions were limited. The results founded that the most of online learning contents did not provide the multiple methods for expressing students` thought and encouraging engagement and self- control. Based on the findings of this study, implications and improvements of online learning contents development applying UDL for students with disabilities were recommended.
