본 연구는 학습장애아 통합교육을 담당하고 있거나 담당하게 될 초, 중등학교 일반교사들 의 학습장애에 대한 인식을 살펴봄으로써 효율적인 학습장애아 통합교육의 실행에 도움이 되고자 한다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해서 학습장애에 대한 개념, 학습장애아 통합교육을 위한 학급 경영, 학습장애아 통합 교육을 위한 협력 교수에 대한 인식에 대하여 설문 문항을 작성하여 초, 중등교사 240명에게 설문 조사를 실시하고 분석한 결과, 첫째, 학습장애아의 지능 및 선별기준에 대해 초등, 중등교사 다수가 잘못된 개념을 가지고 있었으며 둘째, 학습 장애아 통합학급 경영에 있어서는 초등, 중등교사 다수가 학습장애아의 사회적 기술 및 기초학습기능 지도와 산만해질 학습 분위기에 대한 두려움을 가지고 있었으며 셋째, 협력 수업에 대한 요구에 있어서 초등, 중등교사 다수가 국어, 수학 등의 일부 교과시간에 대한 협력 수 업을 희망하고 있었으며 협력 수업의 협력자는 초등은 특수보조원을 더 선호하고 중등은 특수교사를 더 선호하고 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 심층적으로 검증할 수 있는 더 많은 질적 양적 연구들이 후속되기를 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the recognition of teachers in general elementary and middle schools toward learning disabilities, who are in charge of or will be in charge of inclusive education for children with learning disabilities. This might be helpful to executing efficient inclusive education of learning disabilities. To achieve the objectives of this study, the questionnaire survey was carried out to 240 elementary and middle school teachers, which includes teacher’s recognition on a concept of learning disabilities, class management for inclusive education, and collaborative teaching. As a result, many elementary and middle school teachers, first, have a wrong concept on intelligence in children with learning disabilities. Second, they have anxiety of guiding social skill for children with learning disabilities, of guiding the poor basic learning function, and of being distractible in class learning atmosphere for inclusive education. Third, they prefer the collaborative partner’s supplementary supports during the curricular hours like Korean Language and Mathematics as for collaborative instruction. As for a collaborative partner, the elementary school teachers prefer more special assistant but the secondary school teachers prefer more special teacher. Furthermore, this study suggests that more qualitative and quantitative researches should be continued, which can verify the results of this study more thoroughly.
