본 연구는 초등 특수학급 학생의 현장체험학습에 대한 특수학급 교사의 인식과 개선방안을 살펴본 것이다. 이를 위해 초등 특수학급 교사 133명을 대상으로 하는 특수학급 현장체험학습에 대한 효과, 문제점, 효율적인 방안에 대한 특수학급 교사의 인식을 조사하여 평균, 빈도, 백분율로 결과 처리하였다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 초등 특수학급 교사들은 특수학급 현장체험학습의 효과에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었고 특히 장애아동의 흥미유발과 사회적응력 향상을 주요한 효과로 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 현장체험학습의 문제점으로 교통편에 대한 문제점을 가장 높이 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 현장체험학습의 효율적인 방안으로는 문화체험 프로그램을 효율적 활동내용으로 인식하였고 보조원의 전반적인 활동보조와 현장체험학습 관련 연수가 필요하다는 인식이 높게 나타났다. 또한 다양한 체험학습 프로그램과 자료개발을 현장체험학습에 필요한 우선사항으로 인식하고 있었으며 이와 관련하여 현장체험학습 관련기관의 홍보연수나 교육청 연수, 특수학급 교사들간의 정보교환 등의 필요성을 인식하고 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 한 개선방안으로 현장체험학습과 관련된 교통지원 방법 모색, 다양한 체험학습 프로그램과 자료개발, 관련된 다양한 교사연수 프로그램이 개발이 이루어져야 할것으로 제안하였다.

This study has an objective to examine the awareness of field experience study which is done in special class in elementary school and to suggest desirable direction of field experience learning. The subjects of this study are 133 special class teachers in elementary school in Busan and Gyungnam regions and survey papers were used as study tools. In order to examine the awareness of effects and problems of field experience study of special class, we executed means and standard deviation. In order to analyze the awareness about improvements of field experience study of special class, we have calculated frequencies and percentages of each category. Study results through these procedures are as follows. First, special class teachers awareness of field experience study of special class in elementary school showed that field experience study is effective positively. Especially, They aware of inducement of interest and social adaptation ability improvement of students with disabilities because of field experience study. Second, recognition of teachers who in charge of special class showed generally positive responses about field experience study of special class in elementary school but they seemed to have difficulties in transportation. In order to execute efficient field experience study of special class in elementary school, neighboring schools also have to flock together and execute activities together with the assistance of general activities by the supporters. Third, training for the teachers regarding field experience study is necessary and it is desirable to execute such training as promotional training by relevant institutions of field experience study. More than anything else, development of various field experience study programs is required to vitalize field experience study.
