본 연구는 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 다문화가정 아동의 의사소통 지원에 대한 컨텐츠 개발의 필요성과 필요한 의사소통 기능의 요소들에 대한 요구도를 알아보고자 하였다. 조사대상은 대구 지역을 중심으로 다문화가정 아동이 10명 이상 재학 중인 초등학교 중 다문화가정아동을 교수한 경험이 있는 초등학교 교사 133명을 대상으로 하였다. 이에 대한 결과 분석은 Borich 요구도 분석과 Hershkowitz 임계 함수를 활용하였다. 이를 통해 초등학교 교사는 다문화가정 아동을 위해 구체적으로 어떤 의사소통 기능에 우선순위를 두고 교육해야 하는지에 대해 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 초등학교 교사들은 첫째, 다문화가정 아동의 의사소통 지원에 대해 평균 3.85으로 응답하여 의사소통 프로그램 개발이 필요하다고 하였다. 둘째, 다문화가정 아동을 위해 필요한 의사소통기능은 화용론과 의미론 측면 중심으로 개발되어야 한다고 하였다. 이러한 결과는 다문화가정아동의 의사소통 능력을 증진시키기 위해서 사회적 관계 형성과 관련된 화용론과 의미론을 중심으로 한 맞춤형 컨텐츠 개발이 필요함을 시사한다.

This study was intended to identify the necessity of developing contents on communications support for children in multi-cultural families on the part of elementary school teachers and their demands for necessary components of communicative functions. This research target was 133 elementary school teachers who have experience teaching children in multi-cultural families in schools with at least 10 of them mostly in Daegu. The data collected by the questionnaires were analyzed using the Borich Need Assessment Model and Hershkowitz Threshold Function. The objective of the study was to analyze which communicative functions should educate a priority for children in multi-cultural families on the part of elementary school teachers. The results of research are summarized as follows. First, the elementary school teachers responded the support for children in multi -cultural families was average of 3.85, calling for development of communication programs. Second, they responded the key communicative functions that should be developed for children in multi-cultural families are pragmatics and semantics. It suggests developing customized contents with focus on pragmatics and semantics is essential for establishment of social relationships.
