이 연구에서는 동작법이 발달장애(정신지체, 자폐)아동의 주의산만 행동과 충동행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 먼저 연구대상 아동의 담당치료사와 부모 면담을 통해 연구대상 아동의 행동특성 및 표적행동을 선정한 후 ABAB설계를 통해 표적행동의 변화를 살펴보았다. 이 연구결과 동작법은 발달장애아동의 주의산만과 충동행동 감소에 점진적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 충동행동의 감소는 중재가 끝난 후에도 유지되는 것으로 나타났다.

This study, on the children who have developmental disabilities including mental retardation and autism, is to look how the motion method can have effects on their inattentive and impulsive behavior. First of all, Target Behavior was selected after talking about children``s characteristics in behavior with their doctor and parents and it``s variations were observed with ABAB Plan. The followings are the conclusion derived from this study. The effects on the inattentive behavior of the children with developmental disabilities that the motion method have were observable. it is found that the motion method has effects on the impulsive behavior of the children with developmental disabilities.
