이 연구는 자폐아의 의사소통 능력을 향상시키고 타인과의 사회적 상호작용을 원활히 할 수 있도록 자폐아에게 적합하고 체계적인 모방능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 치료기법을 적용하고자하는 것이다. 연구의 목적은 모방놀이 프로그램이 자폐아의 감정 표현하기 능력 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 이 연구는 3명의 아동을 대상으로 하였으며 연구 방법은 대상자간 간헐 기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 모방놀이 프로그램은 모방 형성 단계, 동작 모방 단계, 구어 모방 단계, 자발적 구어 표현 단계로 구성되어있다. 대상 아동의 의사소통 기능은 세 가지의 놀이 상황을 이용해 구조화된 스크립트활동을 제공하여 의사소통 기능인 감정표현하기를 거부하기와 감탄하기로 평가하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 모방놀이 프로그램을 실시한 결과 감정 표현하기 기능이 향상되었다. 이러한 결과는 직접적인 감정 표현을 사용하여 활동에 적극적으로 참여하게 되었고, 반응 형태 또한 다양하게 변화시켜 사용할 수 있었기 때문이라고 사료된다.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of imitation play program on the representation of emotion functions of autistic children. This study was performed 3 autistic children. This experiment was designed by multiple probes from July to October and performed for 40 sessions during 13 weeks. The imitation play program was consisted of formation of imitation stage, imitation of action stage, imitation of speech stage, and representation of spontaneous speech. The communication functions of subjects were evaluated representation of emotion. This evaluation was performed by structural script in 3 play activity. The results of this study was as follow : after imitation play program, representation of emotion was improved both rejecting and exclamation
