본 연구는 일상생활의존도와 가족 임파워먼트, 사회적 지지 등 가족 대처자원이 장애아동 부모의 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 U지역에 있는 8개 장애아전담 보육시설, 복지관 및 장애인부모회에 등록된 18세 이하의 장애아동 부모278명이었다. 수집된 자료는 연구목적에 따라 피어슨, 상관관계, 다단계회귀분석, t검증, F검증을 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면, 일상생활의존도가 높을수록 양육스트레스가 높게 나타나고, 가족 임파워먼트가 높으면, 높을수록 부모의 양육스트레스는 감소하며, 사회적 지지가 높으면 높을수록 부모의 양육스트레스가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 부모의 양육스트레서 요인으로는 가족의 건강상태지각, 장애 심도, 사회적 인지 및 가족의 능력이 전체변량의 29.7%를 차지하였다. 또한 장애아동을 돌보는 양육자의 건강상태가 나쁘고, 장애아동이 남자이고, 아동의 장애정도가 심한 가족이 양육스트레스가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 장애아동 취약가족에 대한 스트레스 정도를 면밀히 사정하여 지지적 중재를 제공해주어야 하며, 또한 가족의 장애아동에 대한 양육능력을 향상시키는 중재 방법이 장애아동 가족의 양육스트레스를 감소시키므로 이에 대한 방안이 적극적으로 모소되어야 하겠다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of independence of ADL(Activity of Daily Life) and coping resources on parenting stress in parents of children with disabilities. Data was collected by questionnaires from 278 families who their child attended in early education of registered institution and association of disabled parents in Ulsan. The research instruments utilized in this study were WeeFIM (self-care, elimination management, riding, locomotion, social cognition), FSS(Family Supoort Scale), family empowerment(system advocacy, knowledge, competence, self-efficacy) and parenting stress. The major results of the study were as follows: Self-care, elimination, communication, social cognition of ADL, family empowerment and social support showed a significantly negative correlation to parenting stress. The significant factors influencing for parents of children with disabilities were ADL, social support and family empowerment, which explained about 29.7%. The results suggest that it is necessary to design an intervention program that emphasizes improving ADL, family empowerment and social support for reducing parenting stress.
