본 연구는 지적장애아동의 적응행동 예측변인을 탐색하기 위해 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 광주광역시에 거주하고 있으며 지적장애아동의 양육을 담당하고 있는 모 217명을대상으로 지적장애아동의 적응행동, 모의 양육태도, 부의 양육참여도, 가족기능, 모 -교사 간 상호작용, 사회적지원 정도, 모의 심리적행복감 척도를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 15.0을 활용하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 지적장애아동의 적응행동은 모의 양육태도, 가족기능, 사회적지원 정도, 모의 심리적행복감에 의해 유의하게 예언되었다. 또한 하위요인에 대한 분석결과 자율성영역에서는 가족기능, 모의 심리적 행복감이 운동성영역에서는 모의 양육태도, 가족기능, 모의 심리적행복감이 의사소통영역에서는 사회적지원 정도, 모의 심리적행복감이 사회성영역에서는 모의 양육태도, 모의 심리적행복감이 유의한 예측변인임을 알 수 있었다. 이러한결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의, 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

This study aims to research the factors which can predict the adaptational behavior of children with intellectual delay. To achieve the mentioned purpose of this study, the data was collected from the scales of the adaptational behavior of children with intellectual delay, a mother’s child-rearing attitude, degree of father’s participation on child-rearing, family function, interactions between mother and her child’s teacher, degree of social support and psychological happiness of mother. The subject of this study are 217 mothers of children with intellectual delay residing in Kwang-Ju city. The data was analysis in multiple regression using SPSS 15.0. As a result of the analysis, the adaptational behavior of children with intellectual delay has been significantly influenced by psychological happiness of mother, a mother’s child-rearing attitude, family function and degree of social support. And I have verified that autonomy in subordinate dimension of adaptational behavior has been significantly influenced by family function and psychological happiness of mother and locomotion in subordinate dimension of adaptational behavior has been significantly influenced by a mother’s child-rearing attitude, family function and psychological happiness of mother. Also, I have verified that communication in subordinate dimension of adaptational behavior has been significantly influenced by degree of social support and psychological happiness of mother and socialization in subordinate dimension of adaptational behavior has been significantly influenced by a mother’s child-rearing attitude and psychological happiness of mother. Finally, the significance of this study, its limitation and further research was discussed.
