본 연구는 컴퓨터 기반 비디오 자기모델링이 자폐장애 학생의 사회적 의사소통 기술에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 연구 대상은 의사소통 기술이 부족한 10 - 11세의 자폐장애 학생에게 컴퓨터 기반 비디오 자기모델링을 실시하였을 때 대상 학생들의 사회적의사소통 기술(의사소통 시도하기, 의사소통 반응하기)에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 첫째, 컴퓨터 기반 비디오 자기모델링 중재를 사용하였을 때 자폐장애 학생의 의사소통 시도하기 수행률이 향상되고 유지되었다. 기초선 기간 중에는 대상학생 A와 C 둘 다 매우 낮은 수행률을 보였으나 중재기간동안 점차 수행률이 증가되어 중재 후기에는 높은 수행률을 보였으며, 중재기간 이후에도 유지되었다. 둘째, 컴퓨터 기반 비디오 자기모델링 중재를 사용하였을 때 대상 학생B의 의사소통 반응하기 수행률이 향상되고 유지되었다. 기초선 기간 중에는 대상 학생B는 매우 낮은 수행률을 보였으나 중재기간 동안 점차 수행률이 증가되어 중재 후기에는 높은 수행률을 보였으며, 중재기간 이후에도 유지되었다. 모든 단계가 끝난 뒤에 각학생의 담임교사들에게 IRP - 15를 작성한 결과 중재 수용도는 아주 높게 나타났다.

This research carried out computer-based videotaped self-modeling on students aged 10-11 who lack communication skills due to their autistic disorder and examined the effects on the social communication skills (initiation of communication, response to communication) of those students. The results of this research were as follows. First, the use of computer-based videotaped self-modeling enhanced and maintained the execution rate of initiation of communication for the students with autistic disorder. During the baseline period, the student A and C showed very low execution rate but the execution rate has increased gradually over the intervention period. By the later stage, it showed high execution rate and the high rate was maintained after the intervention period. Second, the use of computer-based videotaped self-modeling enhanced and maintained the higher execution rate of response to communication. During the baseline period, the student B showed very low execution rate but the execution rate increased over the intervention period. By the later stage high execution rate was observed and the high rate was maintained after the intervention period. At the end of all the processes, the results of the IRP-15 prepared by each home teachers showed intervention acceptability to be high.
