Developing an Evaluation Index of Learning Software for Students with Mental Retardation and Learning Disabilities

본 연구의 목적은 특수교육 교사가 개인별 정신지체·학습장애 학생이 사용하면 효과적인 학습용 소프트웨어를 선택할 수 있도록 평가 항목을 개발하기 위해 그 항목들의 타당성을 검증하는 것이다. 연구방법은 전문가 여섯 명을 대상으로 학습용 소프트웨어의 정보제시, 학습설계, 콘텐츠, 사용성, 접근성 평가 항목에 대한 타당성을 5점 척도로 검증받았고 전체 및 항목별 보완 의견을 수집하여 전문가간 타당성 점수와 의견들을 비교 분석하였다. 결론적으로 정보제시의 11개, 교수설계의 12개, 학습내용의 10개, 사용성의 5개, 접근성의 7개로 총 45개의 정신지체·학습장애 학생을 위한 학습용 소프트웨어 평가 항목을 개발하였다.

The purpose of the study was to validate an evaluation index of learning software for students with mental retardation and learning disabilities. The evaluation index was developed for teachers to choose appropriate learning software for their individual students. Six professionals were participated to decide the validity of evaluation items such as information presentation, learning design, contents, usability, and accessibility of learning software in 5-point measure. They also were asked to suggest complemental and additional opinions for each evaluation items as well as overall index. The data of the validity and documented suggestions were compared and analyzed across the participants and evaluation items. In conclusion, 45 total items with 11 items for information presentation, 12 for teaching design, 10 for learning contents, 5 for usability, and 7 for accessibility were developed as an evaluation index of learning software for students with mental retardation and learning disabilities.
