본 연구는 정신분열병 환자를 대상으로 만화로 구성된 사회인지 재활프로그램을 실시하여 손상된 사회적 기능이 향상되는지 알아보고자 하였다. 정신분열병 환자의 사회적 기능을 측정하기 위해 4가지의 사회적 기능척도(사회생활기술척도, 대인관계기능척도, 대인관계변화척도, K-WAIS의 차례 맞추기)를 사용하였고, 사전-사후 결과 값을 비교하였다. 연구대상은 대구광역시 내의 5개 정신재활시설에 등록한 정신분열병 환자중 자발적으로 본 연구에 참여한 치료집단 26명과 통제집단 22명으로 이루어졌다. 치료집단에게는 만화로 구성된 사회인지 재활프로그램을 일주일에 2회씩 총 32회기를 4개월에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 그 결과, 치료집단은 통제집단과 비교하여 4가지 사회적 기능척도 모두에서 유의한 향상을 보였다. 따라서 만화로 구성된 사회인지 재활프로그램은 정신분열병 환자의 손상된 사회적 기능 향상에 효과가 있었다.

This research was performed to identify the effect of ‘Social Cognition Rehabilitation Program’ on social function of schizophrenia. It used four scales to measure social function, which include Social Skills Scales, Relationship Function Scale in Independent Living Skill Survey, Relationship Change Scale, and Picture Arrangement in K-WAIS. The experimental group was composed of 26 patients, and the control group was composed of 22 patients which were registered to 5 psychological rehabilitation institutions in Daegu, Korea. Comics ‘Social Cognition Rehabilitation Program’, used in this research, was performed in twice a week for 4 months, including 32 sessions totally. The main aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Comics ‘Social Cognition Rehabilitation Program’ on social function of schizophrenia. The experimental group was improved significantly compared with control group in four social function scales. Therefore Comics ‘Social Cognition Rehabilitation Program’ was effective in improving social function of schizophrenia.
