개념도는 전체 학습자료 내에 포함된 개념들을 규정하고 가장 일반적이고 포괄적인 개념들로부터 가장 구체적이고 특정한 개념으로 이루어지는 위계적인 배열과 그 개념들 사이의 상호관계를 그래픽 형식으로 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 개념도 기법의 이론적 근거를 제시하는 Ausubel의 학습이론 및 개념도 정의와 의의를 살펴보았고, 개념도를 활용한 선행연구들의 효과를 분석하였다. 아울러, 개념도를 활용한 선행연구의 효과 분석을 토대로 예비특수교사 교육에서의 개념도 활용 방법을 세 가지 측면에서 제시하였다.

A concept map can be defined as the drawing in which concepts contained in learning material are extracted and arranged hierarchically the relations between concepts in the second dimension. The Researcher suggest that concept map is useful to represent knowledge in any discipline and aid in organizing and understanding new subject matter. Previously This study describes the theoretical background of concept map. The second, the researcher analyze the effects of concept map. and the third, discusses three ways of using concept map in pre-special education teacher education. Some considerations in using concept map is also discussed.
