본 연구는 우리나라 B시에 소재하고 있는 유아교육기관의 운영자(유치원 원장)와 일반유아교사가 장애 유아의 통합교육에 대해 지니고 있는 인식도를 조사하였다. 91명의운영자와 132명의 교사를 대상으로 한 설문응답 자료 분석결과, 유아교육기관의 운영자와 교사의 높은 비율이 통합교육에 대해 긍정적인 입장을 나타냈으며, 통합교육이 유아와 가족뿐만 아니라 사회와 국가적인 측면에서도 많은 이점을 가져다준다는 의견에 동의를 나타냈다. 이러한 태도는 운영자와 교사 사이에 다소 다른 동의정도를 나타냈다.

Inclusion is one of the more attention-getting issues on the current education. The current study was to examine the views of kindergarten principals and general education teachers towards inclusion for young children with disabilities. A sample of 222 participants(99 principals and 113 teachers) in B city of Korea was studied, using a survey questionnaire, their perception was analysed. The results showed positiveness towards inclusion in the respondents`` views suggests practical readiness requires to be launched.
