본 연구는 러시아 지역의 카잔연방대학교와 유럽 지역의 류블랴나대학교에서 운영되고 있는 한국(어)학 현황을 살펴보고 이를 통해 러시아와 유럽 지역의 한국(어)학 교육과정을 논의하고 발전 방향을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 첫째. 카잔연방대학교 한국(어)학 과정의 변천과 현황을 살펴보고, 둘째, 류블랴나대학교 한국(어)학 과정의 현황을 살펴보겠다. 이를 통하여 두 대학 간의 한국(어)학 교육과정이 어떻게 자리매김하고 있는지 비교하여 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 유럽 류블랴나대학교에서 한국어 단일 전공 개설을 위하여 필요한 노력들에 대하여 제언하고자 한다. 셋째, 한국 정부 및 관련기관의 지원을 통한 유럽 및 러시아에서의 한국(어)학 과정의 문제점들에 대하여 살펴보고 이를 통하여 한국어 및 한국학 유지와 발전을 위한 제언을 하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to seek for improved directions of the Korean studies abroad through analysing the Korean Studies curriculum in Middle European University and Russian Federation University. Especially, comparing to two Universities` Korean Studies programs in University of Ljubljana and Kazan Federal University. Thus, in this study, we have focuses as follow: First, we will look into the change and the present state of Korean Studies at Kazan Federal University. Second, we will look into the present state and future prospect of Korean Studies at Ljubljana University. And Third, we will give some proposals to be established single major in Korean Studies at Ljubljana University, and also we will give proposals to develop Korean Studies in Europe and Russia Federation.
