이 연구의 목적은 음운과 관련한 학습자의 문법 오개념에 대한 실제적인 정보를 제공하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 고등학교 3학년 학습자 11명을 대상으로 이들에게 형성되어 있는 음운 관련 오개념을 조사하였다. 오개념 조사에는 사고구술법이 적용되었는데, 먼저 학습자들에게 음운과 관련한 9개의 탐구 문항을 해결하는 동시에 그 과정을 구술하도록 하였다. 그 후 수집한 사고구술 자료를 통하여 학습자가 가지고 있는 음운 관련 오개념을 추출하였다. 그 결과, 16종의 음운오개념이 발견되었으며, 이는 ‘오개념의 대상’과 ‘오개념의 형성 원인’을 기준으로 분류되었다. 분류 결과,선행 연구에서 제시되지 않았던 ‘문법 개념의 범언어적 이해 실패’,‘실생활에서의 부정확한 언어 사용 경험’,‘결과 위주의 문법 개념 이해’가 새롭게 추가되었다.다만 이 연구는 연구 대상이 모두 문법 성취 수준이 높은 학습자들로만 구성되었다는 한계점을 가진다. 그러나 성취 수준이 높은 학습자임에도 불구하고 이들에게서 여러 가지 음운 오개념이 발견되었다는 것은, 오개념 예방을 위한 구체적인 문법 교육 방안 마련이 필요함을 더욱 강조 해주는 측면이 있다

The purpose of this study was to supply the practical materials about learner`s misconceptions concerning "Phoneme". In order to accomplish this research purpose, We surveyed “phonemes misconceptions” from eleven high school seniors. first, we made them solve the nine questions of inquiry for phonemes and talk about the process. It is applied thinkaloud method. And then, we collected the phonemes misconceptions that were in the learners from the data we got. As a result, Sixteen phonemes misconceptions were discovered and they were categorized according by “What about it is?” and “What is the cause of it?”. Actually, All of the eleven high school seniors were in a high-level on grammar. It is a limit of this study. But the findings that high-level students had many phonemes misconceptions tell us that we need a solution for this problems. Therefore, the materials about learner’s misconceptions must be collected widely. And on the basis of it, we have to study the grammar education improvement plan to prevent being formed the misconceptions.
