본 연구는 특수학교 학교기업을 운영하고 있는 학교에서 관련 업무를 담당하는 교사를 대상으로 특수학교 학업기업 운영 현황을 간단히 분석한 후, 운영 현황에 근거하여 성공적인 학교기업 운영에 영향을 미치는 관리자 역량 및 교직원 참여도, 지역사회 네트워크 구축, 직업훈련실의 적정성, 교육과정과 학교기업 연계의 적절성 요인들 간의 상대적 효과를 분석하였다. 또한 최종적으로 네 요인 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 16개 학교에 소속된 학교기업 담당교사 94명의 설문조사 자료를 활용하였다. 주요 연구결과를 보면, 첫째, 운영 현황을 물어본 모든 문항의 평균이 3.5이상으로 담당자들은 학교기업 운영을 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 매출 현황을 보면, 64.5%는 상승하고 있다고 응답하였으며, 감소하고 있다는 비율은 약 10%로 크게 높지 않았다. 셋째, 성공적인 학교기업에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 관리자 역량 및 교직원 참여도, 지역사회 네트워크 구축, 직업훈련실의 적정성, 교육과정과 학교기업 연계의 적절성을 독립변인으로 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 설명량이 약 55%로 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 지역사회 네트워크 구축이 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 직업훈련실의 적정성 역시 정적으로 유의미한 변인으로 나타났다. 구조적 관계를 보면, 관리자 역량 및 교직원 참여도는 교육과정 연계 및 직업훈련실의 적정성에, 교육과정 연계는 지역사회 네트워크 구축과 직업훈련실의 적정화에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로 직업훈련실의 적정성은 지역사회 네트워크에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This study was implemented to investigate the current situations of special school-based enterprises and the relative effects of variables influencing on the success of them. A total of 94 teachers from 16 special schools in charge of special school-based enterprises participated in questionnaires. According to the key results, first, teachers perceived current special school-based enterprises positively. In addition, most of teachers thought that special school-based enterprises had positive impacts on their students. 64.5% of teacher reported sales had been up. On the other hand, only 10% of teachers reported sales had been down. Third, according the regression analysis for the variables impacting on special school-based enterprises` success level, the local network was most important variable and the proper vocational training room was also positively significant variable. This model explained about 55% of total variances. According to structural relation analysis, supervisor`s competences and staff participation gave positive impacts on curriculum and vocational training room. The vocational training room impacted positively on local networks.
