본 연구는 발달장애학생 직업교육 직무의 탐색과 그 적합성에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 알아보기 위해 계획되었다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 먼저 10개 지역 21개 발달장애 특수학교를 표집하여 직업교육 직무가 무엇인지 조사하였으며, 그 결과를 바탕으로 10개 직무군 33개 직무를 선정하여 개념 정의하였다. 다음으로, 이 직무의 발달장애학생 직업교육 적합성에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 알아보기 위해 205명 특수교사를 대상으로 미래유용성, 대상적용가능성, 현장적 용가능성 차원에서 우선순위를 알아보았으며, 이 결과에 따라 발달장애학생 직업교육 직무의 미래유용성과 준비도 간 양상을 매트릭스로 구현하여 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 발달장애학생 직업교육 직무는 청소, 식음료·조리 서비스, 공예 및 도예, 조립 및 제조, 사무보조, 식물관리, 동물관리, 포장 및 운반, 서비스 등 10개 영역으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 청소일반, 청소용역, 세탁일반, 세탁서비스, 주방보조, 사무실보조, 포장일반, 포장실무, 도서관리보조 등 직무가 높은 미래유용성과 대상적용가능성, 현장적용가능성을 나타냈으며, 생활공예, 생활도 예, 산업도자, 원예관리, 애완동물관리, 주유, 이·미용 등은 낮은 미래유용성, 대상적용가능성, 현장적용성을 나타냈다. 셋째, 발달장애학생 직업교육 직무를 미래유용성과 준비도 간 매트리스 분석을 수행한 결과, 제 1사분면에서 제 3사분면 방향으로 기울어 졌고 세 그룹으로 분포되어 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구 결과에 따른 논의, 연구의 의의, 후속연구 제언 등을 제시하였다.

This study was conducted to identify vocational educational jobs for students with developmental disabilities(DD) and to examine special education teachers` perspectives on the educational adaptability of these identified jobs. To address the research questions, vocational educational jobs were extracted from vocational educational curriculum selected by 21 special schools in 10 restricts. A total of 10 job categories and 33 specific jobs were initially identified. To examine special education teachers` perspectives on these identified jobs, 205 teachers participated in surveys to examine their priorities of the jobs with respect to job usability in the future, feasibility to apply for students with DD, and the degree to apply in the educational field. The results of the study were as followings: (1) as previously mentioned, the vocational educational jobs for students with DD were grouped into 10 categories and a total of 33 jobs was identified; (2) general cleaning, janitorial service, general laundry, laundry service, kitchen porter, office assistant, general packing, packing practice, library management assistant had high adaptability as vocational educational jobs for students with DD; and (3) the results from matrix analyses between the future-usability and the preparation indicated that there were three main clusters located from the first quadrant to the third quadrant. Lastly, discussion based on the study results, implication of the study, and suggestions for future studies were presented.
