This study is an effort to discover and analyze the Colombian literary works about the Korean War. In Guadalupe anos sin cuenta, the third collective creation of the Theatre Group ‘La Candelaria’, the Korean War is not a predominant topic over the whole work, but it constitutes the decisive factor for the transformation of the personage Joaquin Robledo. Also it is possible to observe that the veterans of the Korean War were used for the operation counter-guerrilla of the Oriental Llanos. This work narrates the socio-political and historical situations of the fifties, denouncing that the violence of that time even continues up to today. This article emphasizes the perspective of ‘here-now’ for the historical events of the fifties and explains the problematics of the liberals and the conservatives in the socio-historical context in order to reveal the meaning of the circular structure of the work. Also, it elaborates the reorganization of isolated and fragmented fourteen scenes according to the chronological order, informing the important historical facts. In addition, it analyzes the function of the ‘corridos llaneros’ that serves as a popular version against the official, and reveals that the Korean War was used as the cultural neocolonialism and the loss of the identity of the soldiers of the Battalion Colombia who later were sent for the assault against the guerrilla groups.
