본 연구는 중학생의 체육활동 목표성향을 요인화하고 수량적 측정도구를 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 23개 문항으로 구성된 예비문항을 서울/경기도에 위치한 중학교 재학생 237명에게 배포 및 수집하였다. 우선, SPSS 18.0을 이용한 탐색적 요인분석작업을 통해, 구인타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하였다. AMOS 18.0으로 이용하여 개념신뢰도, 수렴 및 판별 타당도를 검증하였다. 이를 통해 총 16개 문항 4요인 이 검출되었다. 요인은 각각 ‘발전 의지, 배우는 즐거움, 지도자 의식, 경쟁심’로 조작적 정의되었다. 본 연구는 청소년과 교육 및 체육, 심리에 대한 다 학제적 연구의 기초도구로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to search purpose orientation factors of sports activity on middle school. researcher visited 3 schools in Seoul/ Gyung-ki and tried to survey the 237 students. Analyses were made by the methods of frequency analysis, correlation, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis through the Statistical package SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. From those of data analysis, 4 factors were selected as purpose orientation factors of leisure spots activity participation on middle schoolchild.; pressure about achievement, joyful learning, teacher’s cognition, competitive mind, total 16 items.
