본 연구에서는 Lean UX 프로세스의 프로토타입 제작도구의 역할과 개선방향을 제안한다. 먼저, 문헌과 사례 조사를 통해 Lean UX 프로세스에서 사용되는 프로토타이핑 도구의 유형 및 특징과 한계점을 조사하였다. 이후, Lean UX 프로세스를 업무에서 활용하고 있는 실무자들과의 인터뷰를 통해 1) 프로토타입 제작, 2) 작업물 공유, 3) 테스트 측면에서 문제점을 도출하고 개선점을 제안한다. 1) 작업 속도 및 비용 측면에서는 전체 프로토타입 디자인과 Flow를 확인할 수 있는 기능, 반응형 웹 설정 기능, 프로토타입 소스 코드를 출력할 수 있는 기능들을 제공하여 빠른 속도로 작업이 가능하도록 한다. 2) 작업물 공유 측면에서 프로토타입의 실시간 공유기능, Push 알림 기능, 모바일내 코멘트 작성 기능을 제공하여 구성원들의 참여를 증진시킨다. 3) 데이터 수집 측면에서의 개선을 위해 로그 데이터수집 기능을 제공한다. 본 연구를 통해 개선 및 제안한 기능을 보완한 프로토타이핑 도구가 출시될 경우, 기업들의 Lean UX 프로세스에서의 업무 진행에 커뮤니케이션 및 업무 효율을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

In this paper, we review the roles of the prototyping tools for the Lean UX process and suggest future improvements. We first review the previous literature to investigate the types, the characteristics and the limitations of the prototyping tools. We then interviewed the workers who are using the process to hear about the problems in 1) building a prototype, 2) sharing a working product, 3) testing, and from these we suggest the possible improvements in the process. 1) In order to speed up the process and reduce its cost, we suggest a method to check the overall prototype design and flow, a method to setting up a responsive web and a method to output a prototype source code. 2) In order to increase the working member participation, we suggest a method to share the prototype in real time, a method for push notification and a method to create a comment through a mobile. 3) In order to improve data collection, we suggest a method to collect logged data. We expect a significant improvement in the communication and the work efficiency in Lean UX processes, if companies using the process adapt the improved prototyping tools as suggested by this current research.
