성공적인 읽기를 위해서는 빠른 이름대기, 읽기유창성 및 읽기이해 등을 포함하여 여러 요소들이 필요하다. 본 연구는 초등학교 읽기장애학생과 일반학생의 빠른 이름대기, 읽기유창성 및 읽기이해의 특성을 비교하고, 읽기장애학생과 일반학생의 빠른 이름대기, 읽기유창성 및 읽기이해의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 1∼6학년의 읽기장애학생(31명)과 일반학생(31명), 총 62명을 대상으로 빠른 이름대기, 읽기유창성 및 읽기이해 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 읽기장애학생은 일반학생에 비해 빠른 이름대기, 읽기유창성 및 읽기이해능력이 낮게 나타났으며, 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 둘째, 빠른 이름대기와 읽기유창성, 빠른 이름대기와 읽기이해 및 읽기유창성과 읽기이해는 유의한 상관관계를 보였고, 설명변인으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 읽기장애학생의 읽기 지도를 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

For successful reading, rapid automatized naming(RAN), reading fluency, and reading comprehension are needed. The purposes of this study were as follows: First, to compare the characteristics of RAN, reading fluency, and reading comprehension between students with reading disabilities and general students. Second, to grasp the relations of RAN, reading fluency, and reading comprehension between students with reading disabilities and general students. For this study, 62 elementary students(31 students with reading disabilities and 31 general students) were employed and tested by RAN, reading fluency, and reading comprehension test. The data analysis method were two-way ANOVA, and regression analysis. The result of this study were as follows. First, compared to general students, students with reading disabilities showed lower abilities in RAN, reading fluency and reading comprehension, which showed statistically significant differences. Second, there were significant correlations between RAN and reading fluency, RAN and reading comprehension, reading fluency and reading comprehension. Based on these results, the implications for the instruction of reading fluency for students with reading disabilities were suggested.
