This study is intended to establish the system for meaning classification of the vocabularies, thereby identifying the characteristics represented in the meaning of the vocabularies in verbal language used by the students. To that end, review of existing meaning classification system was carried out and as a result, meaning classification system was presented from two different standpoints. First, as meaning classification from ontological viewpoint, it`s sub-categorized into `things, movement, stationariness, space, time, number and relation" Second, as meaning classification from subjective standpoint, it`s sub-categorized into "human and human relation, family relatives, job and workplace, body physiological function treatment, sense and sensory organ, thought emotion personality attitude, clothing, residing and eating, education school life learning, arts hobby play game sports, politics society economy, natural phenomenon, information and communication, language, religion and belief. In this study, specific vocabularies in the category of "things" and the category of "education school life learning, arts hobby play game sports" are presented based on above systems and the characteristics are analyzed.
